Orlando City SC secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over the LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night, marking their first road win of the season and extending their unbeaten streak to three matches. The victory coincided with a milestone for head coach Oscar Pareja, who managed his 200th MLS match with Orlando City SC.

Orlando is now in seventh place with 10 points in the Eastern Conference. The current MLS champions are currently in 14th position in the Western Conference with just two points over six games.

The Galaxy struck first in the 14th minute when Christian Ramírez capitalized on a precise cross from Miki Yamane, slotting the ball past the keeper to give the hosts an early advantage. Despite their struggles this season, LA appeared poised to control the tempo in the opening half.

Orlando responded with relentless second-half pressure, culminating in a game-changing moment in the 76th minute. Eduard Atuesta was brought down inside the penalty area, earning a crucial spot-kick. Martín Ojeda confidently converted from the spot, netting his fourth goal of the season and leveling the score at 1-1.

As full-time approached, the Lions delivered the decisive blow in the 90th minute. Luis Muriel stepped up for a long-range free kick and unleashed a powerful strike on goal. Despite a touch from Galaxy goalkeeper John McCarthy, the ball found the back of the net, sealing the win for Orlando. The goal marked Muriel's third of the season and his first game-winner of 2025.

The Lions now turn their focus to an upcoming showdown against the Philadelphia Union on April 5 at Subaru Park. The match will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
