Gallery: Sounders vs LA Galaxy

In their weekend match on Saturday, the Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy played to a 2–2 draw at Lumen Field in Seattle. The Sounders took an early 2–0 lead, but the Galaxy fought back with two goals to split the points.

  • First half: The Sounders jumped out to an early 2–0 lead.
    • 5': Jesús Ferreira scored the first goal for Seattle. The goal made him Major League Soccer's (MLS) record holder for the most regular season goals by a player under age 25.
    • 41': Danny Musovski scored Seattle's second goal.
    • 44': Maya Yoshida scored a header for the Galaxy to cut the deficit to 2–1 heading into halftime.
  • Second half: The Galaxy completed their comeback in the second half.
    • Miki Yamane scored a late equalizer, securing a 2–2 draw for the Galaxy. 

Player note: The match also marked the return of Sounders forward Jordan Morris, who had been out since July following shoulder surgery.
